BBQ & Sweet Shop

On the last Friday in April and the first Friday in October, Mt. Carmel invites the community to enjoy a biannual barbecue and sweet shop featuring a variety of savory and sweet treats. This long-standing tradition has delighted generations, nourishing both body and spirit while supporting many worthy causes through its proceeds.

Join us from 11 a.m. until we're out! If you miss us for lunch you can stop by Friday afternoon and evening for pints of meat and stew to go!

Ways to Pay
  • You can pay with cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, or Apple Pay.
  • Stay and enjoy lunch under the trees, or get your order to go. Call early in the day, 770-449-4498, and your order will be ready when you arrive for pick-up.
  • Did you know? BBQ meat and Brunswick stew freeze well. Get an extra pound or pint and freeze for later.

  • Angel Tree United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR)

The United Women in Faith's Sweet Shop raised funds also to support many local and international ministries.
