MT. CARMEL PRESCHOOL

The Mt. Carmel Preschool is a nurturing, joyful learning community where young children are encouraged to grow, explore, and thrive. Grounded in a child-centered philosophy, our preschool focuses on supporting each child’s natural curiosity, creativity, and development in a safe and loving environment. Through meaningful relationships, hands-on learning, and age-appropriate experiences, children are guided as they build confidence, kindness, and a lifelong love of learning. We believe early childhood is a time to discover, wonder, and grow—together.

Nurturing Early Learners

Mt. Carmel Preschool serves children from 12 months through five years, offering thoughtfully designed, age-appropriate learning experiences in a warm, supportive, and engaging environment. With low teacher-student ratios, children receive individual attention as they explore, play, and learn at their own pace. Our hands-on, developmental approach—aligned with the Georgia Early Learning Developmental Stages—supports each child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth, helping them build confidence, curiosity, and a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Child-Centered Learning

Our teachers embrace play-based learning as a powerful foundation for early childhood development. Inspired by best practices from both American and international early-learning models, Mt. Carmel Preschool is designed as a child-centered environment where exploration, creativity, and joyful discovery are encouraged. Guided by our motto—“Put on your listening ears, use your kind hands, and your kind heart”—children learn not only academic readiness, but also kindness, respect, and empathy.

Enrichment & Belonging

Our Preschool students enjoy a variety of enrichment opportunities that support spiritual, physical, and intellectual growth, including morning Chapel, music and movement, and age-appropriate science experiences. Families are also invited to participate in special events and programs that build community and celebrate learning. We are committed to providing a welcoming, inclusive environment and maintain a policy of non-discrimination, offering equal access to education and employment for all.
