JoIN Youth Group

Mt. Carmel’s Youth Group is open to all students in grades 6–12—and friends are always welcome! We gather on Sunday evenings from 5:15 to 7:15 p.m. in the Youth Hall (accessible through the door on the cemetery side of the building). Each week includes dinner, games, worship, and small-group discussion, creating space to grow in faith, build friendships, and have fun together. If you want to learn more about Jesus, connect with great people, and enjoy a welcoming community, we’d love for you to join us! And you can explore more ways our youth connect, serve, and have fun through the additional sections on this page.
HAVE FUN (AND RAISE FUNDS)

Youth at Mt. Carmel stay busy with a wide variety of events that are both fun and meaningful. Throughout the year, students take part in creative fundraisers—such as the Annual Dinner Theatre, Newlywed Game Show, (Un)talent Show, Spring and Fall Barbeques, Flamingo fundraisers, and more—that help support mission trips and youth programming while building teamwork and confidence. Alongside these efforts, the youth enjoy plenty of fun activities, including whitewater rafting, drive-in movies, Stone Mountain outings, pool parties, lock-ins, laser tag, group dinners, and many other shared experiences.
MAKE THE WORLD BETTER

Service is an important part of life in Mt. Carmel’s youth ministry. Each June, our high school students participate in a mission trip that offers meaningful opportunities to serve others while growing in faith, teamwork, and perspective. These trips may be local, regional, or international, but each is designed to be an impactful experience for both the communities served and the students. Youth also regularly take part in local service projects and community outreach throughout the year, helping them put their faith into action and learn the value of compassion, service, and leadership close to home as well as beyond.
